📜 Partner program rules
These rules apply to everyone in the WazzaBee partner program. By activating partnership in your dashboard, you agree to follow them.
This article covers the rules of work only. Rates, levels and how rewards are calculated are described in the article “Partner program for integrators”.
Who a customer is assigned to
| How the customer appeared | Who they are assigned to |
|---|---|
| Signed up through a partner’s referral link | The owner of the link |
| Created by a partner in the dashboard: “Customers” → “Add customer” | The partner who created them |
| Came on their own, without a link | Nobody. They can only be assigned if the customer contacts support themselves |
| Came through one partner’s link but was set up by another | The owner of the link: setup work does not affect the assignment |
The assignment has no expiry date: as long as a customer is listed under a partner, every reward for their payments goes to that partner. You can see who is assigned to whom in the dashboard on the “Customers” tab. In disputes we look only at this data: who first brought the customer through a link or created their account.
Tip: add customers through the dashboard or your own link from the very start. We cannot confirm verbal agreements along the lines of “he is my customer”: there is no record of them in the system.
Moving a customer to another partner
- Partners do not hand customers over to each other directly: only support can move a customer.
- The grounds for a move are a request from the customer themselves, sent to support from the email of their account. We do not act on partner requests such as “reassign them to me” without the customer’s request.
- After the move the previous partner receives no further rewards for that customer: the percentage goes with the customer.
- If a customer stops using the partner’s services and asks to be unassigned, rewards for them stop as well.
What a partner may do
- Pay for a customer’s subscriptions and WABA balance from your partner account, at the discount of your level.
- Charge the customer the full price from the official WazzaBee price list. The difference between the price list and your discounted price is your reward.
- Log in to a customer’s account to set up channels and integrations.
- Sell your own services (setup, rollout, support, training) at any price you like. We do not limit you here.
What is not allowed
| Not allowed | Why |
|---|---|
| Returning part of the service payment to the customer: in cash, by transfer or as a card refund | The reward is paid for working with the customer, not so that the service can be resold cheaper |
| Selling a WazzaBee subscription below the official price list, including at the expense of your own partner discount | Undercutting with your partner discount devalues the service and breaks the market for every other partner |
| Reselling or giving away free partner channels | They are issued to the partner personally: for work, tests and demos for customers |
| Passing yourself off as a WazzaBee employee | You are an independent company and work under your own name |
| Buying ads on our brand: queries like “WazzaBee”, “Wazza Bee” and similar | We pay for brand traffic ourselves and are not willing to compete with partners for it |
| Building copycat WazzaBee websites | Customers get confused about who they are paying and who to hold responsible |
| Promising a customer features the service does not have | Both you and we will have to deal with the disappointed expectations |
Privileges from 15 active customers
Partners who look after 15 or more active customers get extra benefits:
- Free channels in the partner’s own account: we agree on the mix and the number in a ticket
- A WABA channel with no subscription fee: you pay only for conversations with Meta
- A personal manager: a direct contact instead of the general support queue
- A WazzaBee partner certificate: you can show it to customers
All of this is switched on on request to support, nothing appears automatically. Open a ticket, we will check the number of customers and enable it.
To keep the benefits you need to keep 15 active customers. If the number drops, the privileges and the higher discount go back to the normal scale. The partnership itself stays: your customers, dashboard and accumulated bonuses are not going anywhere.
Who counts as an active customer? A user assigned to you who has at least one channel on a paid plan.
“VIP integrator” status
If you already look after 10 or more customers in another service, there is no need to climb the scale from scratch. Write to support and confirm your customer base, and we will switch on “VIP integrator” status with a 50% discount before you move your first customer over. We set no deadline for the move: transfer customers as their paid periods run out.
To keep the status you need at least 10 active customers. The extra privileges (free channels, WABA with no subscription fee, a manager and a certificate) start at 15 active customers.
If the rules are broken
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Warning | We write to you in a ticket, explain which rule was broken and ask you to put it right |
| 2. Loss of status | On a repeat violation we remove the “VIP integrator” status and the extra privileges, and the discount goes back to the normal scale |
| 3. Removal | On a serious or third violation we remove you from the partner program: partner features are switched off and rewards stop |
What happens to bonuses already credited. What you earned does not burn: the bonuses stay on your balance and you can use them to pay for the service: for yourself and for your customers. Only cash withdrawal is closed.
A serious violation is anything that hurts customers and the market: selling or giving away free partner channels, systematically selling the service below the price list, or working under the WazzaBee name.
Bonuses and withdrawals
- Bonuses never burn and have no expiry date.
- Individuals can spend bonuses only on paying for the service: their own or their customers’.
- Sole proprietors and legal entities can withdraw funds under a service agreement. The minimum withdrawal is $11.
Changes to the rules
We may change the rules and the rates. We announce significant changes in advance in the “What’s new” section. The rates that apply to you right now are always visible in the partner dashboard on the “Referrals” page.
Still have questions? Write to support, we will look at your case.
