🔗 Connecting amoCRM: step-by-step guide
WazzaBee links your messengers and classifieds with amoCRM: WhatsApp (via QR code and via WhatsApp Business API), Telegram, Instagram, Facebook and OLX. A customer writes to your messenger: the request appears in amoCRM right away, and your agent replies from the lead card without switching windows.
What you need before you start
- An amoCRM account where you are an administrator. A regular user cannot install the integration.
- At least one channel in WazzaBee: connected and paid for. The connector settings only list active channels with a valid subscription. See “What channels are”.
🔌 Step 1: Connect amoCRM in your WazzaBee dashboard
- Open the Connectors section in your dashboard.
- Click the amoCRM card.
- In the amoCRM subdomain field type your account name. If your address is
mycompany.amocrm.ru, entermycompany. - Click Connect amoCRM: the amoCRM authorization page opens.
- Tick the data transfer consent and grant access to the WazzaBee app.
- You will be returned to the dashboard with the ✅ “amoCRM connected” message.
Tip: you can paste the full address such ashttps://mycompany.amocrm.ru/leads: everything extra is trimmed automatically, onlymycompanystays in the field.
⚙️ Step 2: Enable your channels
After connecting you land on the integration settings page. At the bottom you will find the list of your channels. For every channel you want in amoCRM:
- Turn on the Enable for amoCRM switch.
- In the When a new customer writes block choose where the request lands: a Deal or Incoming leads.
- Pick the pipeline. For the Deal option also pick the initial stage. Both lists are pulled from your amoCRM, and if they are empty, click Refresh data at the top of the page.
- Click Save.
Deal or Incoming leads. This is how a request reaches your manager:
- Deal: the request becomes a deal at the selected pipeline stage right away. Good when every request goes into work anyway.
- Incoming leads: the request lands in the built-in Incoming leads section of amoCRM in the selected pipeline. The manager clicks Accept, and only then a deal appears. Handy when requests should be reviewed first, so the pipeline is not filled with what never went into work. There is no stage to pick here, the manager sets it when accepting.
In both cases the chat history stays in the card: the customer messages and the replies your manager writes right from amoCRM.
📌 Listing details from marketplaces (OLX)
When a customer writes about a listing on OLX, the deal automatically gets the listing title, its ID and the link, and the source field is set to OLX. The deal is named after the listing, for example “OLX: Diagnostic scanner”, so the list of deals tells you what the conversation is about.
Nothing to set up. If your amoCRM already has suitable deal fields (“Listing title”, “Listing link”, “Source”), we fill those. If there are none, they are created automatically with the WazzaBee prefix.
When the data appears. In the Deal mode, right when the deal is created. In the Incoming leads mode, the moment a manager accepts the card and the deal appears.
Assigning the responsible user. In the block next to it choose who gets the customer:
- “Whoever replies first owns the deal”: the deal and the contact move to the employee who writes to the customer first from amoCRM. After that the responsible user stays the same even if colleagues join the conversation, and you can always change it by hand.
- “Round robin”: new customers are handed out in turn: the first customer to one employee, the second to the next one and so on. All active users of your amoCRM take part.
On the first save you will see ✅ “Chat channel connected”: this means the WazzaBee chat channel has been created in your amoCRM. It happens once; the other channels need no extra confirmation.
If a channel is missing from the list: check its status in the Channels section. Disabled channels and channels with an expired subscription are not shown in the connector settings.
💬 Step 3: Check how it works
Ask someone to write to your connected messenger (or write yourself from another number). Here is what happens:
- Contact. WazzaBee looks the customer up in amoCRM by phone number. If there is no such contact, it creates one.
- Deal. A deal named “Request from messenger: customer name” is created in the pipeline and stage you selected.
- Repeat requests. If the contact already has an open deal, no new one is created: the conversation continues in the existing deal.
- Replying. Type in the chat of the deal or contact card and the message goes straight to the customer’s messenger. Images, files and voice messages work too.
Where the customer came from. If the person tapped “Send message” in an Instagram or Facebook ad, the deal is filled with the “WazzaBee: Ad”, “WazzaBee: Ad ID”, “WazzaBee: Ad link” and “WazzaBee: Ad click ID” fields. The fields are created automatically on the first such request: you do not need to add them by hand.
🐝 Step 4: The “WazzaBee Chats” item in the amoCRM left menu
Besides chatting inside the card there is a separate full-screen inbox: the same as in your dashboard, but inside amoCRM.
- In amoCRM go to Settings → Integrations.
- Find the WazzaBee app and install it: tick the data transfer consent and confirm the installation. You can open the installation page right away: install the WazzaBee app in amoCRM.
- In the Your amoCRM domain field enter your account address: only
mycompany.amocrm.ru, with nohttps://and no trailing slash. This is the most common installation mistake. - The WazzaBee Chats item appears in the amoCRM left menu with all your channels and conversations.
Important: connect amoCRM in your WazzaBee dashboard first (step 1). Otherwise the widget will not find your integration and will show a connection error.
📋 Step 5: WhatsApp Business API templates
This step is only needed for a WhatsApp Business API channel. A template is a pre-approved message you can use to write to a customer first or to reply when a lot of time has passed since their last message. See “Message templates”.
How to move templates into amoCRM:
- On the amoCRM settings page in your dashboard click Sync templates.
- Refresh the amoCRM page with F5: the templates appear in the card chat.
A template without variables is sent right from the chat in the deal card: templates icon → pick one → send.
A template with variables (name, amount, date) is easier to send through Salesbot:
- Open the Salesbot designer in amoCRM.
- Add the WazzaBee: send a WABA template step.
- Choose the channel, enter the template name and fill in the variables.
- Save the bot and run it on the pipeline stage you need.
📈 Sales to Meta by deal stage
If your Click-to-WhatsApp ads bring clients to WhatsApp and you close sales in amoCRM, purchases can be sent to Meta automatically. The manager simply moves the deal to the right stage, there is no need to mark the sale in the chat.
- Connect the "Sales in Meta" section in your WazzaBee account for the WhatsApp line.
- Open Connectors → amoCRM, the "Sales to Meta from amoCRM" block.
- Click the stages that count as a sale, for example "Handed over to warehouse" or "Closed - won".
- Choose the deal budget currency and click "Save".
When a deal reaches a marked stage, we find the client's chat, take the deal budget and send a Purchase event to Meta with the amount, currency and ad click data. We store the click data ourselves, in the amoCRM deal it is shown in the "WazzaBee: Click ID рекламы" field.
- A deal budget is required. A deal with a budget of 0 is not sent: Meta needs to see the purchase amount.
- One purchase per chat. Moving the same deal to a sale stage again does not create a second event.
- Only clients from ads. If the client did not come from a Click-to-WhatsApp ad, there is nothing to send to Meta and the sale is skipped.
🛠 Useful buttons on the settings page
- Refresh data: re-read the account, pipelines and stages from amoCRM.
- Sync templates: push your approved WhatsApp templates to amoCRM.
- Reconnect: use it if access to amoCRM stopped working (the account owner changed, permissions were revoked). It runs the same authorization as the first time and keeps your channel settings.
- Disconnect: stop exchanging messages without deleting the settings.
- Delete: remove the integration together with the channel settings.
You can connect several amoCRM accounts: each one is configured separately and they are all listed in the Connectors section.
❓ If something goes wrong
- A connection error in the left menu. Make sure amoCRM is connected in your WazzaBee dashboard and that the widget domain has no
https://and no trailing slash:mycompany.amocrm.ru. - A channel is missing from the connector settings. The channel is disabled or its subscription has expired: renew it in the Channels section.
- Templates did not appear in amoCRM. Click Sync templates and refresh the amoCRM page with F5. Only approved templates are synced.
- A message arrived but no deal was created. Most likely the contact already has an open deal and the conversation went there.
- Nothing helped. Contact support from your dashboard, in the the Support section.
